Low Heel No Heel is a Black woman-owned online shoe boutique that specializes in affordable, comfortable shoes that are under 4 inches tall. The company has recently launched its new Spring/Summer 2022 Collection on the company’s website, LowHeelNoHeel.com.
The collection consists of new Spring and Summer styles – including flats, heels, and many other styles. “This collection also features a variety of colors and larger shoe sizes, per our customers’ request,” says owner, Shannon Ashmore-McMath. “We have had a positive reaction to the new styles we have added to the site and have already sold out of a few styles that have since been restocked. In addition, we’ve partnered with new suppliers to add more versatility to our collection!”
The company has been in business since 2019 and caters to women seeking an alternative to high heels.
The idea of Low Heel No Heel came about one day in 2013 when the owner began shopping for work shoes online. While shopping, she saw many cute styles, but none that had a smaller heel comfortable enough for work and day-to-day. Shannon was also involved in a serious car accident a few years prior, so comfort was her top priority!
Although the idea came in 2013, Shannon worked full-time and went to school full-time and did not start the business until 2019- but better late than never! “I currently work full-time and this business is my side hustle. Shannon says. In the future, I would like to work for myself full-time and truly scale the business. The focus for me is flexibility and to create generational wealth.”
Low Heel No Heel offers free shipping on all orders over $50 and no monthly subscriptions.
