ISSA RAE TALKS SEASON 4 OF INSECURE

With festivities underway, Issa Rae stopped by, along with showrunner Prentice Penny, to discuss the upcoming, highly anticipated Season 4 of Insecure during “A Lowkey Conversation with Issa Rae and Prentice Penny,” hosted by HBO and The Blackhouse Foundation and moderated by Bevy Smith.

Earlier in the day, The Blackhouse Foundation opened with Creatives Who Brunch: A Conversation About Digital Storytelling hosted by Facebook, Africa and Beyond – Celebrating filmmakers of the African Diaspora at Sundance alongside Paramount, New Audiences: The Power of Storytelling In Education & Reception presented by Strayer Studios. Later that night, guests kicked back at the “Justice For All” Music Lounge sponsored by FWD.us.

On deck for today, January 26, The Blackhouse Foundation will host A Blackhouse conversation with the filmmakers and cast from CHARM CITY KINGS – with panelists to include Angel Manuel Soto, Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Caleeb Pinkett, Sherman Payne & Clarence Hammond.

Encouraging full immersion from attendees, The Blackhouse Festival App 2020 is now live. It will include the most updated information regarding programming and events at TheBlackhouse during Sundance; registration is now open.
