Black-owned jewelry company, Moijey Fine Jewelry and Diamonds, has teamed up with Brenda Joyce, an international gemologist and designer, to launch a unique medallion series made with pure 24 karat gold from Ghana. The series, called Sankofa Medallions by Brenda Joyce, is available in three sizes (1oz, 1/10th ounce, and a limited edition 5oz), and they gracefully commemorate the highly popular Year of Return and Beyond the Return in Ghana.
The first Medallion was awarded to the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo by Joyce herself. Since then, the Medallion has been officially launched in the U.S., and is now available on Moijey’s official website at Moijey.com and at all its retail locations.
Founded in 2002, Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds is a Black-owned and US Army Veteran-owned global jewelry brand that was birthed in Sierra Leone, West Africa by founder, Daniel Moijueh.
The company has locations in Washington D.C., Silver Spring, MD, Ghana, and Nigeria. Their mission is to provide high-quality African and African American-inspired fine jewelry, gold medallions, and diamonds to patrons while providing them with the unique “mine to finger” experience.
