Sparkle This Fall with La’Bate Jewelry. Anthony La Bate, former couturier known for creating lavish evening dresses and diamond encrusted wedding gowns, is trading stitches for stones with the launch of La’Bate Jewelry. Handmade, modern and versatile, La’Bate Jewelry is crafted with natural precious stones in brilliant color combinations offering just the right amount of luxury for everyday wear.
Hand-forged by artisans in India, La’Bate Jewelry uses only ethically-sourced natural stones, pearls and leathers along with gold and oxidized silver in this debut collection of bracelets, pendants, rings, earrings, necklaces and cuff links. No two pieces are exactly the same, offering a truly unique accessory for each individual that will last a lifetime.
The diamond dressmaker’s new selection of one-of-a-kind jewelry is inspired by his many years as a high-profile couture designer in New York City. In 2003 La Bate designed a $300,000 diamond encrusted wedding gown for a private client, garnering the attention of the fashion industry and media — Good Morning America, the NY Post, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not featured his dress.
“When I started my evening and wedding gown label, Francesca Couture, I embellished ma
ny of the gowns with stones,” said Anthony La Bate, Designer. “Each stone — just like a stitch — has a story, which I find fascinating and inspiring. My love for precious stones always influenced my clothing designs, so I’m thrilled to now be able to offer a jewelry line of exclusive, affordable everyday pieces.”
La’Bate Jewelry is available now at private jewelry events and at labatejewelry.com. Most of the pieces in the collection range from $150 – $3,000.
