Science Confirms That Our Food Is Making Us Sick & Fat. You’ve heard it a million times — “You are what you eat.” We all know that eating nutritiously is important to overall health and well-being. Food has changed a lot since the 1930s and ’40s, when we were an agricultural society. Buying local wasn’t a trendy thing to do; it was a way of life. The food you ate came from your neighborhood, was fresh, alive with bio-photon energy, consumed right away and wasn’t genetically modified or “dead” food loaded with highly addictive neurotoxins known as “excitotoxins.” As mass-manufactured foods increased so did deliberately “engineered” crafty ad campaigns that told us about “the other butter,” funded by big-agri, pharma and food giants. Along with the lumps of new sugars, new oils as fats, came our aches and pains, a 1000X heart disease increase and we’ve from 60 cardiovascular surgeons in the US to now over 6,000. Science now confirms that our food is making us sick and fat.
